When looking for budget holidays, the tourist filled beaches and islands of Greece won’t necessarily strike you as one of the cheapest options. However, there are many options to spend cheap Greek holidays in style, and we’ll try to help you find them.

There are two main principles when it comes to looking for cheap holidays in Greece: timing and patience.

Timing because booking early will get you discount prices, and because booking smart will get you huge price reductions. By booking smart we mean choosing the time of your holidays carefully. In most European countries, and in the whole World, you’ll only really find good weather around August. In Greece, however, good weather is practically found all year around, with the “beach season” being somewhere between May and an unbelievable November. So booking your trip to those low season months will save you a lot of money.

Another principle, like we said, is patience. To find the best deals you’ll need to shop around a lot, going to several travel agencies – and possible doing a lot of hassling and haggling too, especially if they’re Greek – and looking around online every chance you get. But when fou find that amazing deal, it’ll all be worth it.
