Rio de Janeiro’s Busy Month

Wherever you travel in the world, there are always events at certain times of year. July happens to be a very busy month for Rio de Janeiro, so if you like events, then this is where you want to go.  On the 18th of July, there is the annual Rio de Janeiro City Marathon. It is said up to eighteen thousand participants will attend this race that covers both mountain terrain and near the sea. 

Also in July from the 22nd to the 24th, Rio is where the Full Gospel Businessmen Association Convention is held. Then from the 26th to the 30th the Steel Industry and Materials Association will take place.  The Brazilian Grand Prix Horse Race happens on the last day of July and ends on August 2nd.
