From Milan to Hamburg

Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye will be facing off at the Imtech Arena, Hamburg Germany for the unification of the WBA, IBO, WBO, the ring and the IBF boxing heavy weight titles.  The fight will be held on 2 July in Hamburg, Germany.  The buildup to the fight began On 16 April 2009, where Haye wore a t-shirt that had the picture of him holding the Klitschko brothers’ decapitated heads in a boxing ring.  This was a clear indication that he declared war on the brothers.  Boxing fans from all over the globe will be streaming in to witness the settling of the two-year long grudge. The aerial distance between Hamburg and Milan is 558 miles.  Those who chose to travel to Hamburg by road will notice that the distance on the ground will have increased to 719.82 miles to accommodate the twists and turns.  Driving at 40 mph, (64 km/h) will get you to Hamburg in 18 hours or if one loves to drive faster at around 70 mph, they will reach the city of Hamburg in 10 hours.  

Those who prefer to fly to the destination will get there in 1.7 hours, a relatively short time owing to the high speed of the plane, moving at 450 mph and there no being twists and turns.  The time indicated is inclusive off the thirty-minute ascent and landing time.  Plane tickets range from €59 to €74 depending on the different airlines and their packages.  

In Europe, moving by train is quite affordable; keeping in mind that the European railways pass gives an individual a ticket pass for all the 29 countries for just £150.  On reaching Hamburg whether via train or plane, taxi services are available for less than €20, and these will take you to the Imtech Arena.
