One of the best destinations for the entire family is a trip to the ocean and if you go no further than the beach, young and old can enjoy the sun, sand and surf. Dive shops also offer scuba certification classes and family members as young as ten years old can become certified. If time does not allow a certification class, shops will hand hold aspiring divers on a discover scuba excursion with basic training and one or two dives.
